Maya Joi Art

     I’m interested in contrasting what I see with my eyes and what I see with my mind, and then finding where the two can meet. The imagination of a child is so raw and pure. Children typically don’t have the same limitations that we tend to develop when we reach adulthood. I try to find the same imagination I had as a kid and try to push it as far as I can to see what I can come out with.
